is derived from thirty years of private teaching, five years of writing
columns for Guitar Player magazine and fourteen years as a faculty
member at Wichita State University.
Most of the students that come to me are rock guitarists
that do not read well and want to learn more about jazz. Therefore,
I have tried to write material that would give these players a better
understanding of the fingerboard, harmony, progressions and their application
to improvising over chord changes.
